These terms apply to your use of toprealestateagentnz.co.nz and the free agent matching service we provide through it. By using the site you agree to them.
What we do
We are an agent matching service. We research recent sales activity around your property and recommend the local agent we believe is best matched to it.
How this works
Our service is free to homeowners. You pay us nothing, and using our service does not increase the commission you pay your agent.
Top Real Estate Agent NZ is under common ownership with one of the agencies we work with, and your enquiry may be referred to that agency.
Your Sold Report
The Sold Report we provide is a summary of general market activity around your address, drawn from publicly reported sales information. It is not a registered valuation, and it is not an appraisal under section 156 of the Real Estate Agents Act 2008. It should not be relied on as a statement of what your property is worth. For that, engage a licensed real estate agent or a registered valuer.
Our recommendations
Our recommendation is an opinion based on the information available to us, including recent sales records and seller feedback. Past sales performance is not a guarantee of any future result, including sale price or timeframe.
You are under no obligation to engage any agent we recommend. If you do engage one, your agreement is with that agent and their agency, not with us. We are not a party to it and we are not responsible for their conduct, their advice, or the outcome of your sale. Any complaint about a licensed agent can be made to the Real Estate Authority at rea.govt.nz.
Accurate information
You agree that the information you give us is true and that you are the owner of the property, or are authorised by the owner to make the enquiry.
Agency names on this site
Agency names shown on this site indicate where the agents we recommend have previously worked. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of those agencies, and all trade marks remain the property of their owners.
Liability
We provide this service with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, and except for the guarantees in the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 which we do not exclude, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or from your dealings with any agent we recommend.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version published on this page at the time you use the service is the one that applies.
Governing law
These terms are governed by New Zealand law and the New Zealand courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
